Board Positions and Responsibilities
Chief Executive Officer
- Shall lead and supervise all executive board members
- Shall act as official spokesperson for CEO
- Shall supervise, train, and mentor Vice President
- Shall be direct correspondent for all advisors
- Shall facilitate personal reviews for each executive board member
- Shall be responsible for the chapter’s participation in the National Conference
- Shall oversee all external business ventures
- Shall present all gifts and awards
- Shall facilitate executive board meetings including preparing agendas
- Shall present all competition awards
- Shall supervise and assist with chapter programming
- Shall assist with developing next semester’s budget
- Shall write executive summary for the End of Semester and Annual Chapter Reports
- Shall be spokesperson for all competition matters
- Shall maintain campus recognition
- Shall be responsible for executive board End of Semester Awards
- Shall maintain all room reservations
- Shall proactively recruit incoming speakers
Chief Operations Officer
- Shall administer the duties of President in the absence of the President
- Shall assist the President
- Shall be responsible for the chapter mailbox
- Shall survey chapter for programming ideas
- Shall create the programming report for the End of Semester and Annual Chapter Reports
- Manage Planning for High School Business Plan Competition
- Misc. duties assigned from the President
- Shall be the liaison for all incoming speakers
- Shall lead all speaker gifts and post thank-you cards
Chief Financial Officer
- Shall maintain all chapter finances
- Shall collect all dues
- Shall keep chapter within predetermined budget
- Shall create a budget for the following semester
- Shall maintain a cumulative financial record
- Shall assist President with fundraising for National Conference
- Shall be responsible to order raffle tickets and plan to sell raffle tickets
- Shall create the finance report for the End of Semester and Annual Chapter Reports
- Shall be responsible for National Conference sign-up, hotel reservation, airfare, and transportation at the conference
- Shall be responsible for SUFAC budget and meeting
- Responsible for all student reimbursements
Chief Marketing Officer
- Shall be responsible for all marketing materials, including flyers, commercials, newsletters, digital signage, etc.
- Shall be responsible for website development & maintenance
- Shall create marketing report for End of Semester and Annual Chapter Reports
- Shall be responsible for creating specialist positions/committees as needed
- Calling upon potential/current sponsors & send them thank you gifts
- Collaboration with CoBE/Media Relations for CoBE newsletters, social media accounts, etc.
- Guerrilla/creative marketing for increasing membership
- Content Marketing - Working with current entrepreneurs to start CEO content blog
Chief Public Relations Officer
- Weekly email to members
- Shall manage social media efforts (posting and responding to posts)
- Shall be responsible for creating specialist positions/committees as needed
- Shall manage social media communications
- Shall manage all social media efforts with Chief Public Relations Officer - Monthly Sponsored/Paid Post
- Shall be responsible for all photography
- Shall be responsible for all videotaping
- Guerrilla/creative marketing for increasing membership
Chief Competitions Officer
- Shall work with faculty adviser to secure funding for rewards
- Shall secure judges for competitions and provide communications
- Shall work with Chief Public Relations Officer and Chief Marketing Offer to promote events
- Shall be responsible for the Warhawk Business Plan Competition and Elevator Pitch Competition (See Project Plan)
- Shall maintain records for that semester’s competition
- Shall be responsible for gifts for judges and finalists
Chief RECRUITMENT OFFICER
- Shall assist with the Collegiate Organization fair
- Shall lead our recruitment efforts
- Shall speak in classes to obtain new members
- Shall bring new ideas to the table to bring in new students
- Shall lead and create organization activities for all members outside of the designated meeting times
- Misc. duties assigned from the President
